Metabolism Boost benefits
Shiitake mushrooms – rich in eritadenine, a compound shown to help lower cholesterol and support lipid metabolism. Also high in B vitamins for energy conversion.
Garlic & ginger – thermogenic and anti-inflammatory.
Sesame oil – healthy fats that aid nutrient absorption and satiety.
Korean twist
Add a boiled quail egg (optional for non-vegans) or small potato cubes during braising — common in jangjorim.
Finish with a sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds and a drizzle of sesame oil.
