Delget Nour originated from Algeria, native to North Africa, traced back into the 19th century, where they were first grown in the region of Touggourt in the Sahara Desert.
Delget Nour means "Date of Light" in Arabic, when you hold the date against the sun, it appears to glow gloriously as the mother of all dates.
Boxes may come in a variety of colours, however, they are the same product within.
Kounouz's dates are from oasis of Tolga (Algeria).
